1. Adding a buddy code: Each player is given a buddy code. To retrieve your buddy code, go to:
Here, you’ll have the option to print out a set of cards with your child’s personal buddy code! Swap the code cards with friends and family members, so they can enter your child’s code on their buddy list.

2. Another option to adding a buddy is within the game. Click on a player that is close to you, and it will bring up that player’s game card.
You can click on a friend, and click the button in the top-right of the new window to add him or her to your Buddy List.
Select the red “Add Buddy” button to invite the player to be a buddy! The other player will receive a flashing envelope icon on their screen. When they click it, this message will appear:
If your legs are made of lava, I think it's in my best interest to be your friend.
If the other player clicks YES, both players will appear on the other player’s buddy list. If the user clicks IGNORE, the sender will get a message that this user is not adding buddies at this time. If the player clicks NO, the buddy request will be denied.
So what do I do with these buddies?
While playing in MainStreet and DownTown, your children will be able to use the buddy icon (upper right of the screen, below the camera) to see which of their buddies are currently playing on JumpStart.com. By clicking the “visit” or “invite” buttons, your child will be able to meet up with friends, then explore and play together!

How do I manage the buddy list?
Kids can manage their buddy list in the Buddyz Booth, located on MainStreet and in The Neighborhood. They are able to see their online, offline, and ignored buddies. They are also able to remove online and offline buddies so they are no longer on their buddy list. Kids also have the option to remove buddies from the ignore list to be automatically placed onto the active list.

Remember, the ability to add and visit buddies is 100% safe and 100% optional!
